Under the greenwood tree
Who loves to lie with me.
And turn his merry note
Unto the sweet bird's throat.
Come hither, come hither, come hither,
Here shall he see
No enemy
But winter and rough weather.
Who doth ambition shun.
And loves to live i' the sun,
Seeking the food he eats,
And pleas'd with what he getys,

1.the poet likes to live in a village type area but not in a city. Because he can enjoy to lie under a tree shade, he can listen to birds chirping melodiously, he will be not having an enemy to fight.

2. The poet is asking others to join him because he likes that place and enjoy that place very much he wants others also to join him so that they can also enjoy the fresh breeze
