Indo-Greeks are Greek kingdoms that are normally located in Northwest India.
Indo-Greeks, however, disappeared in the 10 CE due to the invasion although some Greeks do still exist.
The importance of these Indo-Greeks in the history of India is that it shows that Greeks were the early inhabitants of India and some communities of Greeks that are still existing in India is as a result of these Indo-Greeks.

The rule of Indo-Greeks is very important to Indian history, because of its contribution to various fields in Indian history.Construction using stones and pillars of iron is similar to the Greek architecture.It is believed that the Greek influence was present in science, which can be seen in Greek technical terms in science.In the field of art, their contribution is great as seen by numerous paintings and sculptures of their time.The Greeks were very good at making coins. The practice of coin minting is believed to have originated from them.
