the blood is extracted from the blood tissue is in carbon dioxide level and extracted blood later enters into the blood vessel. the carbon dioxide present in the blood enters into the lungs crossing the walls of blood vessels and alveoli.
oxygen from lungs enters into the blood crossing the walls of blood vessels and alveoli. oxygen enriched blood leaves the lungs and enters into the heart. the heart pumps blood to other cells of the body.
during exhalation, the carbon dioxide is expelled out from the lungs. thus, if the walls of alveoli get the whole process mentioned above get interrupted and leads to serious effects of body. if the walls get , the exchange of respiratory gases would be slowed down eventually reduces the blood pumping speed of the heart.
