Give reason why landmass gain or loose heat more quickly than water bodies

it's because the land  are mostly in solid so there is less molecule space and its structure is very hard so it can trap heat easily and the  loss quickly but as compared to the water the molecule are at very large distance so it cannot trap the heat more sufficiently and the molecule breaks in the form gas which required more time and get liberated out side but the temp is little high as compared to the inner layer of the water . so this process goes on continue which required more time

The Earth's surface consists of land and water which react differently to heating. In generally ,it has been observed that the landmasses absorb and loose heat more quickly than water bodies.
