it creats a blind spot
beacuse photoreceptor deacate the light
If one were to only have cones and not rods they would lose over 90% of their light receptors in their eyes. There will also be a decrease in scotopic vision, which is vision under low light conditions. ... Also, one's vision would fall off very rapidly for things outside the very central area of vision.
Hope so that it would helped u...!!
And if it than don't forget to mark me as brainlist:)
The retina is the back part of the eyethat contains the cells that respond tolight. ... There are 2 types ofphotoreceptors in the retina: rods and cones. The rods are most sensitive tolight and dark changes, shape and movement and contain only one type of light-sensitive pigment. Rods are not good for color vision.
people would be blind .
because whatever we see is due to these receptors , these receptors accept the message and transmit that impulse to optic nerve and from there to brain .
hence if no receptor would be there then vision wouldn't be there .
Photo receptors are light sensors of retina. It consists of Rods and Cones. Without receptors we cannot differentiate light and dark colours in the world. So if any one absence leads to visual problem.
hope it's help
