<Text: ET Bureau>

Last Sunday Congress launched the ‘Aaya Feku’ campaign to ambush a Narendra Modi rally.

We look at some of India’s political slogans and their impact.
Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan

Indira Hatao, Desh Bachao
Jayaprakash Narayan’s famous slogan was the rallying cry for the opposition parties post-Emergency.

Major opposition parties came under the umbrella Janata Party to trounce the Congress in the 1977 parliamentary polls.
Congress won the general elections in 1971 on the back of Indira Gandhi’s slogan.

Given the party’s socialist predilections, the slogan has been revived every once in a while especially ahead of elections.

Rajiv Gandhi and his son Rahul, Sitaram Kesri are among the Congress notables to have used it.
Bari Bari Sabki Bari, Abki Bari Atal Bihari

Congress ka Haath, Aam Aadmi ke Saath

Some example include the deer mouse, the peppered moth, and the peacock. Bacteria are a common research subject when studying evolution and adaptation because some colonies of bacteria can produce several generations in one day, letting researchers see a "fast forward" version of evolution and natural selection.
Hope it helps... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
i. Darwin’s theory of Natural selection in evolution states that only the fittest organism will be able to thrive in the world. Thus, the organism with useful traits will survive.
ii. The natural selection over-abundance of offspring leads to a constant struggle for their survival in any population. Individuals with variations that help them to survive and reproduce tend to live longer and have more offspring’s than organisms with less useful features.
iii. The offspring of survivors inherit the useful variations and the same process happens with every new generation until the variation becomes a common feature. As the environment changes, the organism within the environment adapt and changes to the new living conditions. Over a long period of time, each species of organism can accumulate so many changes that it becomes a new species, similar to but distinctly different from the original species. All species on the earth arise in this way.
Evolution is a slow and continuous process.

As a democratic country, India is built on the foundations of election. ... Your vote can play an important part in making the change.
During general election all or most members of a given political body are chosen. These are usually held for a nation's primary legislative body, as distinguished from by-elections and local elections.
In presidential systems, a general election is a regularly scheduled election where both the president, and either "a class" of or all members of the national legislature are elected at the same time but can also involve special elections held to fill prematurely vacated positions. A general election day may also include elections for local officials.
